Personality- Hello! My name is Whitt! I am 5.5 years young, I weigh around 14lbs, and I am completely up to date with my vetting, including a fresh dental! Because of my past, I would prefer a home without large dogs, and if there are medium to small dogs present, I require that they understand both setting their own boundaries and listening to mine. I would appreciate human parents also making sure we're all respecting and being respected when it comes to boundaries within a multi-dog home! I have had a bad experience with a previous large dog housemate which makes me extra cautious with large dogs now. I like to dig under blankets to sleep in a nest on and off throughout the day, and I sleep all night snuggled under the blankets with my foster sister. I love snuggling up next to humans, it's my favorite, because I still trust and love them even though my previous Dad wasn't too kind to me. All I want is for my people to be happy with me! I constantly look to my foster mom for approval, and I'm learning leash, house, and doggy manners very quickly because of that. I still get spooked at times when someone reaches for me, like to put my leash on to go for a walk, but I'm gaining more trust everyday! Walks are the best thing ever! I love going on trails with my foster family, and I am so great at pulling over to politely wait when bikers and joggers pass us, or when people walking pass us going the opposite direction. Loud cars and lots of stimulation are still a challenge, so foster mom only takes me out on trails that aren't too busy for walking. I love to play with small stuffies, I love all treats I've been given so far, I like small dog sized chews (gotta keep my teeth healthy and clean!), I have learned to take my meals in my crate like my foster siblings, and I am learning to go into my crate on my own when foster mom has to leave the house. I don't bark very much, but I do get so excited when my people come home, I just love them so much! I am well behaved for baths, and I am an A+ car buddy! I lay on the front seat like the passenger prince I am, and foster mom tells me I am the best car rider she's ever had! Won't you give me a chance? I am a very good boy and can't wait for my own forever family to love!
Cohabitation- In my current foster home, I live with 4 children ages 8-20, two dogs (1 my size, 1 medium sized) and we get along great because they listen when I set my boundaries, and I listen when they set theirs. I also live with cats, and have not bothered any of them at all!

Medical- He does not have any medical problems known at this time.
